Buccini Pollin Group welcomed the BPG University Class of 2026 for an inside look at the people, disciplines and decisions that bring a real estate development from concept to completion. Through BPGU, students from Freire Charter School spent several weeks learning directly from BPG professionals and following the development process through the lens of the upcoming Bracebridge residential, one of the company’s upcoming residential projects.

The program brought students alongside the teams responsible for moving a development forward, including development and finance, construction, marketing and operations. By working with each group, students gained a broader understanding of how these functions intersect and how decisions made at one stage of a project influence the work that follows.

Bracebridge provided a real-world framework for that learning. Students saw how development and finance teams evaluate and advance a project, how construction teams execute the plans in the field, and how marketing and operations teams contribute to preparing a property for its future residents. Together, these experiences demonstrated the collaborative process required to deliver a successful development.

BPGU also brought students directly into the environments where that work takes place. They toured BPG’s commercial and residential properties, visited active construction sites and explored recently completed developments. These visits provided a firsthand look at the progression of BPG projects, from infrastructure and construction through completed buildings and operating communities.

Throughout the program, students completed projects and presentations with the departments they worked alongside, applying what they learned and gaining a practical perspective on the roles that support real estate development. The program concluded with a capstone presentation, where the Class of 2026 brought together their biggest takeaways, lessons learned and reflections on what they were grateful to have gained from the experience.

BPG University reflects BPG’s commitment to exposing the next generation to the breadth of opportunities within the real estate industry. By connecting students with professionals across the development process and giving them access to active projects, BPGU provides a practical understanding of the work behind the buildings and communities shaping the region.

Congratulations to the BPGU Class of 2026.
