The Buccini/Pollin Group (BPG) is an official sponsor of the first ever DE Pride Prom May 3rd from 8PM – 11PM. BPG for LGBT High School Youth. BPG is happy to provide FREE parking to Pride Prom Attendees at Lot B on 12th and Orange St. The Prom is geared towards providing a safe, welcoming place for LGBT youth to have a good time and utilize on hand support groups and resources. Doors will be open from 7-9PM for community partners and parents. Students are welcome to come around 7PM to chat with local organizations who will be there until 9PM.
The DE Pride Prom is open to all Delaware schools’ rising 10th graders and graduating seniors. Public and private school students are encouraged to attend as well. The event is being held at First And Central Presbyterian Church – a historic church that underwent renovations in 2015, overseen by BPGS Construction – affiliate of BPG. Although the church is hosting, prom organizers want to be clear, this event is the LGBT community of Delaware and the Church coming together for no other reason than to give LGBT students and their allies a welcoming environment and a great night.
Tickets can be purchased here for $10 and $15 at the door. Pre-purchased tickets will help supporting organizations and sponsors know how much swag to bring. A portion of ticket sales will go to local groups who work with gay youth.
