Premier new indoor golf and social destination comes to Wilmington’s Riverfront in Spring 2026
WILMINGTON, DE – February 2, 2026 – Buccini Pollin Group, Inc. (BPG) and Byler Holdings LLC today announced that The Clubhouse of Delaware, an innovative new indoor golf and social destination, will open at 401 S Madison Street alongside Penn Cinema’s state-of-the-art IMAX theater in Spring 2026. The 8,000-square-foot venue will feature nine state-of-the-art golf simulators and a full-service restaurant designed to bring year-round entertainment to the bustling Wilmington Riverfront.
At the core of The Clubhouse is the best-in-class GOLFJOY simulator system, which delivers an unparalleled indoor golf experience through AI-driven performance technology that measures up to 33 real-time ball and club metrics. The one-of-a-kind experience will allow guests to practice, play, and compete on more than 400 world-famous golf courses with 3D visuals in 4K definition powered by Unreal Engine, the world’s leading virtual reality tool.
“The Clubhouse of Delaware will add a dynamic new experience to the vibrant Riverfront, further establishing Wilmington as a prime destination for recreation, fun, and social connection,” said Jonathan Blyer, president & CEO, Byler Holdings LLC.
The Clubhouse will be the first facility in the country to feature a real putting platform at every simulator. The smart putting system replicates natural green undulations over a 4-yard span for true-to-life short-game performance.
In addition to its interactive golf simulators, The Clubhouse of Delaware will feature a full-service restaurant and bar. The menu will include bar favorites, chef-inspired bites, and select entrées complemented by seasonal beers on tap and signature craft cocktails. The
restaurant features high-top seating behind the simulator bays, creating a relaxed, energetic atmosphere ideal for corporate outings, private events, and casual nights out.
The venue also plans to offer golf lessons, instruction, and youth programming to ensure that local schools and young golfers can take advantage of the space.
“As golf enthusiasts, we wanted to create a simulator experience that truly replicates traditional golf,” said Matt Piecara, director of golf operations at The Clubhouse. “The Clubhouse will offer year-round entertainment for all ages – whether you’re new to the game, an advanced player, or just looking to unwind with friends.”
“We’ve heard from residents that there is a desire for entertainment options beyond restaurants and bars, and we’re proud to support local operators in bringing a cutting-edge concept to our community,” added Rob Buccini, founder, Buccini Pollin Group.
The project underscores BPG’s continued investment in Wilmington’s Riverfront, expanding its portfolio of commercial, residential, and hospitality destinations to create a vibrant mixed-use environment for visitors and guests alike. Most recently, BPG, in partnership with the Riverfront Development Corporation (RDC) and the City of Wilmington, broke ground on Justison Landing Parcel 1, a 164-unit luxury residential community in the heart of the Riverfront.
