Buccini Pollin Group is proud to recognize Anita Neubauer, Vice President & Treasurer of Investor Relations, as she celebrates 21 years with the company.
Anita joined Buccini Pollin Group in 2005 and now oversees commercial revenue operations including billing, accounts receivable, budgeting and forecasting, and lease administration. Since 2014, she has served as a key liaison to BPG’s investor community, helping communicate company strategy and strengthen relationships through enhanced processes and the implementation of updated systems.
A Collaborative Role
Anita was working for a recruiting firm in 2005 before joining Buccini Pollin Group. She visited BPG on a sales call and was immediately drawn to the Associate’s enthusiasm for the company culture and projects. Anita submitted her resume the very next day.
As BPG was still developing as an organization, she was initially hired into a flexible role that created an opportunity for her to work across different departments and develop a broad range of skills. Nowadays, Anita enjoys that her role allows her to collaborate with other departments to solve challenges of varying scopes.
Adapting to Change
Over the course of her career, Anita has seen the industry evolve from being dominated by single-purpose buildings to the focus now being on creating integrated mixed-use communities. Properties are no longer just residential or commercial. Today’s communities combine residential, retail, office, and entertainment components because tenants and residents increasingly expect amenity-rich environments, flexible spaces, and wellness-oriented features—things BPG specializes in.
Anita’s proudest moment as a BPG Associate was leading the overhaul of an outdated system in 2014, which led to the development of BPG’s Investor Portal. The platform enables secure, efficient communication with the investor community.
Looking Ahead
Anita encourages those just starting their careers in the industry to approach every opportunity with curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to learn. She emphasizes that the industry is built on trust and long-term relationships, making it important to invest time in building a strong network and learning from experienced colleagues.
Looking ahead, Anita is most excited about the BPG’s continued focus on creating thoughtful, well-designed spaces that bring people together and enhance surrounding neighborhoods. She finds it especially meaningful that these projects have a lasting, positive impact on the communities they serve.
