Buccini Pollin Group is excited to announce that the FNB Financial Center has won CoStar’s 2025 Impact Award for Commercial Development of the Year in Pittsburgh, PA. This prestigious award recognizes projects that push the boundaries of design, sustainability, and community impact.

The 26-story, 547,000 square-foot office tower is the first new multi-tenant office building in Pittsburgh’s Central Business District in over 40 years. It anchors the $1 billion Lower Hill District redevelopment, a game-changing project that connects Pittsburgh’s urban core to surrounding neighborhoods.

In partnership with First National Bank, Clay Cove Capital, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the City of Pittsburgh, the project team delivered a building that blends cutting-edge architecture with strong community investment. Designed by Gensler and constructed with general contractor, PJ Dick, the FNB Financial Center features floor-to-ceiling glass, top-tier amenities, and LEED Gold certification—underscoring our commitment to sustainability and wellness.

The building provides unmatched access to transit, public greenspace, and smart technology. These features elevate the experience for tenants, visitors, and the surrounding community. The project also focuses on equity, with over $50 million in contracts awarded to minority- and women-owned businesses. Additionally, a portion of the project’s tax revenue supports the Greater Hill District Neighborhood Reinvestment Fund. The fund goes to benefiting local programs and initiatives.

This recognition is a testament to the vision, collaboration, and hard work behind the FNB Financial Center. It stands as a symbol of progress, sustainability, and opportunity in Pittsburgh.

We thank our partners, tenants, and the Pittsburgh community for their ongoing support.
