The Buccini/Pollin Group Inc., celebrated the topping out of its $75 million residential project in downtown Wilmington.
Dubbed The Residences at Mid-town Park and Mid-Town Parking Garage, the project was topped out this week. Topping out is a construction industry term for when a building’s last beam is put into place.
Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki joined Buccini/Pollin to mark the milestone.
“As one of the nine cranes gracing the Wilmington skyline, the Mid-town project is a milestone of the ongoing renaissance of downtown, marked by the project’s creation of 363 construction jobs in our city,” Rob Buccini, co-president of The Buccini/Pollin Group said.
