The Buccini/Pollin Group on Tuesday announced it was the new owner of a 244-room hotel.
The Delaware real estate giant completed the acquisition of the DoubleTree by Hilton on Concord Pike. The property will remain a DoubleTree, with national hotel management company PM Hotel Group handling its operation.
Terms of the sale and the seller were not disclosed.
“BPG’s recent acquisition of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Wilmington evidences our deep commitment to the Northern Delaware community,” said Dave Pollin, co-founder of BPG, in a press release. “We now own and operate six hotels in New Castle County, Delaware and continue to be impressed by the dynamic business environment.”
The hotel recently underwent a $10 million upgrade and renovation project.
