Builders Design recently designed two contemporary models for The National apartment complex located in Old Town Philadelphia. The design style for the one- and two-bedroom model units is based on the demographics of the surrounding community. The first step of the 2 BR design process for Builders Design was to conduct comprehensive research on the potential tenant profile. To fully understand the renter persona, Builders Design conducted grassroots research to completely immerse themselves in Old Town Philadelphia and understand what design styles would appeal to their tenants’ preferences.
