This year has been unlike any other, and similar to many events, our annual Day of Service looked a little different amidst a backdrop of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Every year the associates at The Buccini/Pollin Group spend an entire day giving back to local organizations by providing volunteer services in the Wilmington, DE area. Although we were not able to contribute to as many organizations as we usually do, our efforts included helping clean local state parks on Friday, October 2nd. With commercial properties in both Delaware and Southern PA, this year’s Day of Service presented an opportunity to beautify many parks adjacent to our office locations. Associates in Wilmington split up amongst Bellevue, Wilmington and Alapocas State Parks helping out around the grounds which included: mulching, pulling vines, weed pulling, raking, edging and stone work, and much more. Associates located at Southern PA job sites volunteered to help clean up the Schuylkill River trail.  Despite the circumstances, 120 associates participated in this day of service.

BPG takes pride in supporting our neighbors within the community. We invite you to stay safe and continue to support your local state parks through visitations or monetary donations. For more information on BPG’s outreach initiatives, click here.
