Every year, the associates at The Buccini/Pollin Group spend an entire day giving back to local organizations by providing volunteer services in the Wilmington, DE area. This year, in an effort to better serve the community, we modified our Day of Service to span across an entire week from October 7-11, 2019.
With multiple service opportunities and varying activities, associates were able to select a volunteer option they are passionate about. This year, our associates volunteered at the following organizations during our Week of Service:
- Auburn State Park
- St. Patrick’s Center
- Clarence Fraim Boys & Girls Club
- Ministry of Caring – II Bambino, Sacred Heart Village I & II, and Distribution Center
- REACH Riverside
- Ronald McDonald House
- Neighborhood House
- Sunday Breakfast Mission
- Delaware Humane Association
- Walnut Street YMCA
- Cradles to Crayons
At the heart of our mission, BPG strives to transform the communities we serve through a variety of efforts. In addition to the above volunteer activities, The Buccini/Pollin Group supported local students in need within the City of Wilmington during our Week of Service.
In our continued support of First State Montessori Academy, BPG sponsored the school’s brand new engineering labs, providing students with enhanced course offerings. BPG also donated over 10 bins of school supplies to the students at the Lewis Dual Language Elementary School. The items were collected from 15 of our residential and office properties in the area during our 2nd annual Back to School Drive this past September.
BPG takes pride in supporting our neighbors within the community. We invite you to help all of the wonderful organizations above as well on your time or through monetary donations. For more information on BPG’s outreach initiatives, click here.
