“Since the start of the pandemic, Buccini/Pollin has spent $347 million on 16 developments that have opened in Wilmington. Most of the projects have been concentrated downtown, where the developers feel they’re making the biggest difference. The company has built 2,500 downtown apartments and aims to eventually double that. Other projects have included restaurants, entertainment venues and hotels.”
