BPG Celebrates the Grand Opening of Pretty Eddie's Market

Buccini Pollin Group (BPG) is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of Pretty Eddie’s. The venture is a new vibrant neighborhood market, now serving Downtown Wilmington! Offering fresh produce, deli meats, and pantry staples, Pretty Eddie’s is open daily to meet the community’s daily needs. This project comes together as a result of discernible needs in the Downtown community.

Built With the Neighborhood

We built Pretty Eddie’s with the neighborhood, not just in it. Before opening, our team conducted surveys and conversations with local residents and stakeholders. This feedback was critical in shaping the product mix and atmosphere, ensuring the store evolves alongside the community’s needs and provides a truly personalized shopping experience. Ongoing feedback will be gathered to continuously improve operations and offerings.

Pretty Eddie’s: A Mission for Downtown Vitality

This project marks a significant milestone for BPG: it is our first owned, developed, and operated grocery store.

More broadly, the market directly reflects our mission to strengthen Downtown Wilmington by transforming underutilized spaces into essential amenities that support a vibrant live, work, and play environment.

With over 2,700 residential units delivered to date and another 500 currently under development or construction, Pretty Eddie’s represents another vital step toward meeting the growing demand for fresh, local goods and everyday essentials Downtown.
