This May, BPG associates gathered from throughout the company at Theatre N for our Annual Town Hall. The yearly event provides a forum for associates to hear directly from our Founders, Rob and Chris Buccini. It touched on recent successes, project updates, ongoing initiatives, and the company’s vision for the future. Throughout the session, progress across BPG’s residential, commercial, hospitality, and sports portfolios were highlighted.
To kick off the presentation, Rob and Chris shared the opening of Market West, the new mixed-use Downtown district. The flagship building, 221 W Tenth, recently underwent upgrades to key spaces, including the commercial lobby, elevators, and amenities. Additionally, tenant programming such as holiday markets and monthly plaza happy hours will continue to occur, to enhance community engagement.
Alongside new developments in the pipeline and strong leasing momentum, our founders celebrated our ongoing commitment to provide high-quality housing to our residents. The company marked the ribbon cutting at Humble Park Place, completion on Phase I and II of The Standard, and shared exciting growth in third-party residential management. We are now overseeing seven communities and more than 1,600 units across Delaware and Philadelphia.
The food & beverage portfolio is evolving as well. With enhancements to DECO Food Hall and new dining concepts, our successes reflect BPG’s dedication to creating vibrant, inviting spaces. Notably, with the addition of Casa Nonna, Sumac, and Bean by Bardea, the Food and Beverage division is steadily growing.
Turning to commercial achievements, the FNB Financial Center stood out as a major accomplishment. With solid leasing progress and a newly completed café amenity, the landmark development has been an immediate success. Further, the project earned prestigious industry honors, including CoStar’s Impact Development of the Year and NAIOP’s Best New Development.
Updates shared on BPG|Sports focused on facility improvements at Kirkwood Sports Complex and announced its new role as operator of DE Turf, a leading regional tournament venue. This division’s expansion across South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania reinforces BPG’s devotion to community and sports.
Finally, after the BPG Town Hall concluded, associates gathered at Makers Alley for a well-deserved happy hour. The relaxed setting provided more than just time to unwind — it was a chance to celebrate wins, embrace innovation and, and reinforce the company’s commitment to valuing our team. Events like these reflect BPG’s core belief that success comes from collaboration, learning from challenges, and having fun along the way.
