Using a design-build delivery method, the project integrated the construction of a new building structure with the renovation of the existing 100-year old school house.

• The Brandywine Suites project renovated/converted an existing/abandoned 45 suite hotel into a fully functioning student dormitory for the Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD). Renovations included all interior finishes, select building envelope and systems replacement. The 4 story 45,000sf existing structure spans from North Market Street to King Street in downtown Wilmington Delaware. The building that originally consisted of 6 parcels had been vacant for the past two plus years.

Bloom Energy is a fuel cell manufacturing center project located on Tthe University of Delaware’s Star Campus in Newark, DE.  The project included construction of a new single story manufacturing building with mezzanine level as well as an attached two story building with mechanical, offices and visitors center/ exhibition area. In addition to the building, the project also included final site development, final wearing course asphalt paving, concrete paving, hardscape, landscaping and utilities and utility connections.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington/Christiana is located in the dynamic Christiana business district of Newark, Delaware. The hotel is located within blocks of Delaware Park, with its live thoroughbred racing, 2500 slot machines, table games and poker room; Christiana Mall’s 1.1mm square feet of shopping and entertainment ; and, the 1.3 million square foot, 913-bed, 1,400 physician Christiana Hospital – the region’s largest medical center.
